Results of midbrain histopathology (HE, × 200). Histopathology findings showed that the eosinophilic injured neurons showed nuclear pyknosis, irregular shape of cell body, eosin staining of cytoplasm and nucleus, and infiltration of inflammatory cells were observed in the model group compared to the normal control group. In addition, there was less eosinophilic neuron injury and less inflammatory cell infiltration in the 3-methyladenine (3MA), all doses of piperine and madopar treated groups. The blue part indicates the nucleus. The red part indicates the cytoplasm.
