Sulforaphane-induced p53-WT HCT116 cell growth was attenuated by an HO-1 inhibitor, SnPP. Both types of HCT116 cells, p53-WT (a) and p53-KO (b), were cultured with various concentrations of sulforaphane (0, 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 20, and 50 μM) in the absence or presence of SnPP (10 μM). After 24 h of incubation, cell viability was assessed by CCK-8 assay. Values represent mean ± standard error of mean (SEM) from three independent experimental sessions (N = 3). Statistical differences are indicated by different alphabetical letters for multiple comparisons (p < 0.05)
