Changes of C4H (A), PAL (B) and 4CL (C) gene relative expression in Jiashi and 86-1 melons after infected with A. alternata. Jiashi and 86-1 melons were washed cleaned after harvested and dried in air. Afterwards, Jiashi and 86-1 melons were inoculated with A. alternata (1 × 104 conidia per milliliter) or sterile distilled water (control) and storage at 7℃, 85–90% RH. Each column represents the mean of three replicates. PCR amplification and quantitative analysis were performed in aQuantiNava SYBR Green Kit (QIAGEN, 208054, Beijing, China)
