Standard curve for quantifying the accumulated Cd(II) concentration in plants. The known Cd(II) concentration of ranging from 0 to 0.1 mg/L was spiked to E. coli-cell based biosensor and the induction coefficient values were determined after 1 h of exposure. The induction coefficient values were plotted against the Cd(II) concentration and the equation was obtained by a hyperbolic curve fit with R2 = 0.995
