The effect of 8-epiasterolid on the LPS-induced production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in RAW264.7 (A–C) and BV2 cells (D–F). Cells were pre-treated with or without the indicated concentrations of 8-epiasterolid for 3 h, and then stimulated with LPS (1 μg/mL) for 24 h. The levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines were quantified by ELISA. Values are shown as mean ± SD of three independent experiments. Experimental data are considered statistically significant at values. **p < 0.01 and ***p < 0.001 in comparison with the LPS group
