Effect of CULE on cell viability (A), NO production (B), and insulin secretion (C) in cytokine-induced RINm5F pancreatic beta cells. RINm5F pancreatic beta cells were incubated with each concentration of CULE, IL-1β (2 ng/mL) and IFN-γ (100 U/mL) for 48 h. Cell viability was determined by the MTT assay. NO production was determined by a colorimetric assay. L-NAME (1 mM) was used as the positive control.
